Trade structures evoluted very quickly: the islands turned themselves rapidly on exportation goods. Staple foods (cereals, livestock products ...) or deluxe (cane sugar), but also dyes for textile production, are exported to Europe. On the other hand, the slaves are less moved to the continent but are directly purchased on farms or plantations which grow rapidly on the islands. We are witnessing the creation, on a smaller space, of the future Atlantic triangular trade.
